samsung eternity 280x300 AT&T Brings Another Touch Screen Samsung Eternity

We live in the age of the touch screens, from our PCs to our handsets, the touch screens are taking over. Not necessarily an evil, no it’s more about keeping your hands and the touch screen clean. So the latest in touch screen to land is the Samsung Eternity that has just made a debut on AT&T. Let me be the very first to say that Samsung has certainly be on a roll lately. I think the taking number one spot in the US cell phone market has been a good boost of self-esteem.

Now getting to what the Eternity will bring us, well for starters, the touch screen on this phone is HUGE. I’m talking about 3.4 inches with a 240 x 400 pixel resolution and support for 262K colors. Doesn’t get any sweeter than this. The phone has a full QWERTY keyboard and also supports AT&T Mobile TV. And of course, there is the Samsung signature TouchWiz user interface that lets you personalize the phone to your heart’s content. The TouchWiz provides widgets for your favorite applications that you can keep on the screen in a tray. These widgets also extend to application that carriers may provide; meaning you will have a widget right on your screen that will take you directly to AT&T Mobile TV. A quick and simple “drag and drop” feature lets users instantly access their favorite functions, such as the clock, music player, instant messaging, photos, etc.

The chrome and black exterior are sleek and undeniably cool. There are only three physical keys on the lower portion of the phone and these make navigation a very simple task. Then there’s the built-in accelerometer that will detect motion and orientation to modify the screen display automatically to suit motion sensing games and facilitate photo scrolling.

The Eternity includes a 3.0-megapixel camera with video capture, Video Share calling, advanced messaging capabilities, including Mobile Email and instant messaging (Yahoo!, Windows Live, AOL), Bluetooth technology and a microSD memory card slot supporting up to 8GB.

The phone is available currently in stores as well as online for $149.99. This deal includes a two-year contract and a $50 mail in rebate.

momina :@briana you should be able to make a templete message or a ‘preset message’. it will be an option in your Text Message menu. you can set your name, nick name, some quote that is so-you, or anything else, as long as it’s text. Anytime you want to send a text message with your signature, you can use the templete or preset message. just go into edit mode, add your good wishes above the signature and you’re good to go.
just copied from my comment above hope it helps. it’s not like a real signature, but it’s something with your name on it. you could also try the business card idea by JhonieNoThumbs above. <IMG class=wp-smiley alt=:) src="http://www.freshphonenews.com/wp-incl
