iPhone 2.2 Beta To Have Podcast Download Feature
Although there isn’t any official announcement yet, but screenshots have been leaked by the smart and sneaky. Apple’s latest iPhone 2.2 beta will have a great new interface which will support, among other things, downloading podcasts over wireless networks.
The screen shots were published by the German-language blog, Flo’s Weblog and reveal the new software update to the iPhone as well as more refined looking App Store application. The screen shot shows, the application to be running on 3G networks and there isn’t any particular news about it operating on EDGE networks. For now, Apple will set the download limit on the podcasts to 10MB.
The screenshots also reveal some improvements to the App Store interface. The category home page is now more spacious and has category icons instead of textual category representations.
