iPod Touch 2nd Genertaion – Faster Than The iPhone 3G
Apple has put quite a pleasant surprise in the 2nd generation iPod Touch, and this is a surprise down to the letter because not a sole received a formal announcement. Well no more suspense for you, the new and improved iPod Touch bears a breath taking 532Mhz processor. You know what this means? This is the fastest touch screen device from Apple yet!
The iPod Touch already had a very respectable 412MHz processor, so of course they weren’t dead phones, not by a long shot. But this, this is just awesome. Although it’s a bit of an eyebrow raiser why Apple didn’t announce this feat of theirs, you’d think Steve Jobs would have plastered the walls with the achievement to further add to the glory of being the premium smartphone. One hypothecation may be that since the iPhone 3G didn’t exactly pack this baby, Apple would have more questions to answer than praises to gather.
In any case, if you’d been wondering why games are running faster on your friend’s iPod Touch as compared to your iPhone 3G, now you know. I’d like to see the same techno juice on the iPhone 3G, the device has certainly earned its merit badges.
