Now that the Cupcake is unofficially available for G1 users and will hopefully be officially available by the end of the month for all, the only thing Android lovers were seriously lacking was the existence of more Android handsets to choose from. I mean HTC seriously can’t expect everyone to stick with the G1 for the rest of eternity. And while we had some word as to the possibility of Samsung jumping into the Android game, it became all the more real for us when a sister site of Phone Arena reported that Samsung intends to launch three Android handsets in Europe this year, in fact one of them will be out as early as June. And if you’ve been doing your math right, these handsets will feature the beloved Cupcake. The handset you see in the picture is the S8000 and there’s no word on whether it will be among the handsets launched. But since Samsung loves full touchscreen handsets, we can expect at least one full touchscreen in the lineup. Now let’s hope the rumors pan out.
