Remember the super cheap voice plans from T-Mobile we told you about? Well the doubts surrounding the plan have subsided as it has indeed launched the pilot phase of the voice plans to ‘loyal’ customers in the San Francisco area. So what credentials do you have to show up with to qualify? For starters, you have to be a T-Mobile customer for 22 months or longer with a solid payment record. The individual voice plans cost $49.99 per month and you can add data and messaging bundles to suit your budget. As for those who want everything; you get a very competitive $84.97 per month plan. The breakdown of this plan is; $49.99 for the voice plan, $24.99 for unlimited data and $9.99 for unlimited messaging (SMS/MMS/etc). BlackBerry users will have to spend an extra penny each month ($49.99/voice, $34.99 for BlackBerry data) and family plans start at $89.99 for two lines, with up to three additional lines for $39.99 each. Whew! But nevertheless, it’s a great offering. Now let’s see if the rest of the rumor holds true and the plans go national come March 1st.
