globalive 1 Globalive Faces Ex employee Wrath On The Blog... Welcome To Leaked Information Heaven

Globalive, aka Global Wireless, has just been the on the receiving end of a former employee’s wrath…or so it would seem. The employee in question was sacked for “poor performance in marketing” and decided to get back at the company that’s gearing to roll out UMTS / HSPA network with service planned for all provinces and territories excluding Québec that will make it one of the biggest carriers in Canada. How so? He hit up the HoFo forums and shared everything about the carrier’s future plans…except maybe the CEO’s favorite coffee. The tons of slides that he’s shared at the forum are not the best camera job on the planet, but thankfully they have been deciphered. Here’s what you can all expect from Globalive (hell hath no fury greater than an employee scorned?)

Alright there’s another one circulating the rumor circuit, this time it’s about Nokia. According to a nice blog (by nice I mean they don’t just say it for the sake of saying it), there may be an addition to Nokia’s fall lineup of handsets. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will allegedly join the 5800 XpressMusic as part of Nokia’s music-centric touchscreen offering. Nice, if it pans out. The 5530 XpressMusic is a decent handset with a 2.9-inch touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and will be powered by Symbian S60 5th Edition. If all holds in place with this rumor, we can expect to see the handset debut this September.

The recently announced Nokia 5330 XpressMusic may well be coming to T-Mobile. A leaked image of the handset with a fresh new coat of light neon blue and the T-Mobile US logo has made its way to the blogosphere. Also, there are rumors to point the way towards support for the much-desired and always-elusive 1700 MHz 3G band you T-Mobilers have been praying for. Goodie, now you lot can make a nice upgrade from your current 5130 XpressMusic.
