Verizon Brings CDMA 8795 From Audiovox
Looks like the year of the ugly phones with a truly hideous roll out from Verizon called CDM 8795 from Audiovox. This thing has so many dedicated buttons on the outside; you start to wonder what the buttons on the inside are for in this clam shell design phone. The dedicated buttons are for camera, volume, PTT, speaker phone , voice dialing, and a very special button for the kitchen sink. It also features a microSD slot, audio jack, data cable port. And then on the inside under the secondary display we have yet more dedicated buttons for Music, e-mail and web. The phone also features speaker on the front. It may not be the prettiest phone on the block but it looks tough and durable with an easy to use layout. It has yet to appear on the Verizon website and prices are not confirmed but expected to hover around $149.99 for a two year contract. Rumors abound that corporate customers will be able to get one via telesales.
