Further analysis of the leaked Walmart roadmap shows that T-Mobile is still in love with high resolution handsets. The Sony Ericsson CS8 will be spreading its stuff on T-Mobile in September. The handset brings Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 8.1 megapixel camera, UMTS. Yummers. The handset will cost you $148 on a two-year contract from Walmart.
Up till now we had all been living in a time where the Samsung Memoir was the only 8 megapixel camera phone bearing handset on T-Mobile. And, well, many folks would rather not take pictures than use the Memoir to scar a perfectly good moment forever. But we are now happy to report that evolution has kicked in and Sony Ericsson will (hopefully) give us a better answer to the 8 megapixel question. The Cyber-shot branded CS8 has just passed the FCC’s glare and will be in time to capture all your summer parties. Apart from the 8.1 megapixel camera, the CS8 also comes fully loaded with GPS, Wi-Fi sans UMA, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio and the all too sparse tag-team combo of 1700/2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA. And for the Sherlock fans, yeah you guessed it, this is the T-Mobile version of the C905. No confirmed release date yet, but rumors pit a June 24 debut.
