The newest youngster to hop off FCC’s examination chair with all pieces intact is the Nokia E55. The freshly pictures Nokia E55 is a nice looking smartphone. Very slender at 9.9mm thick (or thin), of course not everyone loves a ‘compact QWERTY’, but those who do will be restless wiggling in their seats. So when does the U.S. get some E55 action? We don’t know yet, but Europeans will be able to pick one up soon for €265 (about $371 USD). Enjoy the FCC photo shoot.

Better official than unofficial huh Nokia? Not long after being filmed and leaked on YouTube, Nokia has made official announcements for two of its handsets one being the E72and the other is 5530 XpressMusic at Connection 2009 Singapore. As stated before, the E72 is indeed the next in line to the E71. It has 10.2 Mbps streaming subject of course to network support, an integrated compass, S60 3rd Edition and FP2 with a 5 Megapixel camera to boot. The XpressMusic installment, the 5530, although not as shiny as the E72 is nevertheless an EDGE phone device with 3.2 megapixel camera and 640 x 360 touchscreen. It has Wi-Fi but lacks 3G so we’re like Nokia who have you been dating? I mean you give us 10. Mbps but no 3G? What’s up with that? The E72 and 5530 XpressMusic should be out in the third quarter for about $489 and $278, respectively.

Are you in love with another Nokia handset? Think its true love or something? Well we have something you might want to cheat on your handset love with. Nokia’s conversations blog has just posted the link to the successor of the E71x from AT&T, (your one true love perhaps?). It’s called the E72 (a no brainer there) and is posh to say the least. It sports a 5 megapixel camera, auto-focus and flash, optical track pad, 3.5mm headphone jack and S60 FP2. But of course if there are video of it being leaked on YouTube rest assured that more leaked info is on its way. Till then let’s all have a minute of silence in respect for YouTube and its awesomeness. Unfortunately the video has been removed, but they did their part.

Nokia has just announced another E-series handset that will reportedly solve all your battery woes; E52. The E52 comes packed with 8 hours of talk time and 23 days of standby. The handset is also stacked high on features, with A-GPS, HSDPA/HSUPA, 3.2 megapixel camera, Mobile VPN and Exchange and Lotus Notes support. Expect the handset to ship out later this year with a 1GB memory card and price tag of €245 (about $326).
