Nokia held another five hour sale short sale at its Flagship stores as well as online. So this means Nokia is actually venturing further into the realm of reaching out to your customers. Good. The handsets that were up for sale included;
- 5800 $280.00
- E63 $195.00
- E66 $275.00
- E71 $285.00
- E75 $380.00
- N79 $260.00
- N85 $330.00
- N95 8GB $355.00
- N96 $440.00
These prices actually give 30%-35% discounts on normal retail prices, which is a bigger discount than the previous three-hour sale. Now let’s see when Nokia does a whole day and we’ll be really smiling with all the glee out there.

Nokia’s first E-series handset to have Nokia Messaging pre-installed, the E75, is shipping to retail outlets across the globe. The E75 is equipped with Nokia’s own corporate email client, Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveller as well as consumer email services like Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and Windows Live Hotmail. As for what you can expect on the appearance front, how does a sliding QWERTY keypad, 2.4″ display, 3.2 megapixel camera, aGPS, WiFi and quad-band EDGE/dual-band HSDPA connectivity sound?

For those of you who doubted the Nokia E71x hotness, shame on you. CITA should the world live that the E71x is a true dish. Of course Nokia’s showing at CITA was majorly focused on apps and services rather than hardware. Ovi mail, social networking ease, messaging options, etc, etc. but getting some live and, more to the point, clear, shots of both the E71x as well as the E75 was a treat. Now does the E71x make Nokia the leader in smartphones? err…No. not yet, Nokia still has a long way to go, and remembering that the Finnish company was the industry leader prior to smartphones, I’d like to hope it can get there again. Enjoy the imagery.

The Nokia E75 has been on the list of hot phones to look out for at MWC. We knew a few specs but were totally in the dark about the pricing. Well good ol’ Expansy has come to the rescue; they’ve ditched all niceness to the Finnish manufacturers and churned out some pretty interesting details about the E75. Before you look at these specs, be warned, these specs will only leave you hungry for the N97. Unless of course you’re a die-hard Symbian fan, there’s no cure for that. And without further ado;
1. Quad-band GSM / EDGE, dual-band HSDPA (900/2100) at 3.6Mbps
2. 2.4″ 240×320 QVGA display
3. 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, digital zoom, LED flash
4. 30FPS QVGA video recording
5. aGPS
6. WiFi
7. FM radio
8. microSDHC
9. 3.5mm headset, Bluetooth 2.0, microUSB
10. Nokia Maps, PDF Document Viewer, ZIP File Manager
11. Dual home screen (work/personal)
12. 1000 mAh battery
13. 630 mins talk, 408 hrs stand-by time
And now for release date and pricing; you can expect the E75 to come out on March 13 for £389.99 SIM-free ($580 USD) or free on select tariffs from T-Mobile UK. Boring.
