We all know that early adopters pay a price for their curiosity. And so is the case with T-Mobile’s Samsung Comeback and Highlight. Only this time, the early adopters tax seems almost insane…well, no, completely insane. Chopping off ten bucks after a whole month is one thing, but cutting price by $55 to $74.00 after a mere one week, is nasty. The Samsung Highlight has also been cut down to $129.99. But considering the demographic both handsets are targeting, the price point is still on the up side. Still if you’re looking to get a nice birthday present for your tween, here’s a recap on the specs; the Comeback is a 3G-enabled handset with a full-QWERTY keypad under the flip, 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player and microSDHC support. The Highlight is a full touchscreen 3G phone with a 3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, A-GPS as well as microSDHC support. There you have it.

T-Mo is all set to launch the Dash 3G by July 15th. The newly upgraded Dash 3G is being released. But, you already knew that, what’s more interesting is that the Dash 3G will be accompanied by an entry level handset from Samsung, the Samsung Highlight. It’s packed with features all set for the teen heart and includes specs ranging from a pretty nifty camera and integrated IM. Detailed specs include a 3.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus, video recording support, Bluetooth, GPS, multimedia player, integrated IM and a microSD slot. No price has yet been made public and no unofficial leakages as of yet that will help guess the price so we’ll just have to wait on this one, and guesses are that it will be less costly handset. So what are you going for? The Dash 3G or the Samsung Highlight?
