In all truthfulness, the one handset I never tire of looking at is the HTC Touch Pro2, it is simply gorgeous. Beyond the great looks, it’s a power house in its own right. AT&T subscribers have recently had the joy of knowing that the Touch Pro2 is finally coming their way and here we have an image of the Touch Pro2 with the AT&T logo. It also seems like the Touch Pro2 may be released under the name of Tilt 2. So this means the Fuze is not having any more kids? Fine with us, bring on the full touchscreen with a QWERTY!

Finally, the HTC Touch Pro2 has landed itself neatly on T-Mobile’s website. The greatest touchscreen and QWERTY handset ever will bring you a 3.6-inch WVGA restive touchscreen display, sliding QWERTY keypad, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, Wi-Fi, GPS, 512MB ROM/288MB RAM, microSDHC support and a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor, all come together under the umbrella of Windows Mobile 6.5 and Touch FLO 3D, it’s so pretty it brings a tear to your eye. The only possible problem may be the insane price tag of $349.99 on a 2-year contract that would make the most devoted HTC loyalist choke. If there’s going to be a price drop later on, we don’t know. And how much could they cut the price tag if #350 is where it starts from? Sad Tmo, very sad.

Fresh up for grabs is the HTC Touch Pro2 and Snap on good ole TELUS. Both handsetsroar with Windows Mobile 6.1 and will cost you $0 and $249.99 respectively on 3-year deals with voice and data discount (that would be $399.99 and $649.99 retail). The devices are a sure win with features for everybody in both consumer and business users categories, you really cant go wrong with email support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, speakerphone, visual voicemail, global GSM roaming and well over five hours of talk-time per device (apart from the other goodies you should know by heart by now. So which is it gonna be?

Life is a little harder for T-Mobile since its 40 million subscriber base fails to attract most manufacturers when compared to the 80 million that AT&T’s got. That’s business for you. So for this very reason we give T-Mobile loads of applause for coming out with a hot new handset in-step with its main GSM competitor (AT&T). The leaked documents here show that the HTC Touch Pro2 may indeed be coming to T-Mobile in the second week of August, possibly August 12th. In other fascinating news, if you’re looking for an affordable QWERTY, the Samsung Gravity 2 is also coming up soon after the Touch Pro2 lands, possibly August 18th. So there you have it and yes, well done Tmo if you pull it off.

The Holidays are still a long way away but it’s never too early to start shopping especially if you’re shopping for a new phone for yourself. There is a new rebate sheet circulating the blessed WWW and it goes to show that at least phone makers are getting ready for the holidays. So the ultimate question of Best Buy or Worst Buy, (no pun intended) will soon be answered. Did you cough up some hefty cash too soon or were you right in holding out for the good stuff? The highlights of the sheet feature:
- HTC Touch Pro2
- Blackberry Tour
- HTC Snap
- Motorola W845
- Motorola Crush
- LG UX310 (replaces the UX300)
- LG UX700
The show stoppers are still the smoldering HTC Touch Pro 2 and the rocking BlackBerry Tour 9630. As with all rebate sheets the final drop date for these handsets may still be a while away. The validity for the sheet is 07/17/2009 – 11/12/2009 so actual release dates can’t really be predicted but corporate America never sits idle before the Holidays so expect something good for yourself this year.

Next up to join the BlackBerry Tour gang is Canada’s TELUS. The carrier is offering the BlackBerry Tour for a cool $229.99 on a 3-year contract. Seems fair. Of course if money’s burning a hole in your pocket, you can get the Tour, contract free, for $599.99. Also, TELUS is looking to keep the action coming with the launch of the HTC Snap and Touch Pro2.

Canadians have more to celebrate about, the TELUS BlackBerry Tour, HTC Snap and Touch Pro2 have all shown up on a Best Buy Mobile flyer. TELUS hasn’t announced the two HTC phones yet, but their coming up on Best Buy’s flyer means the official announcement shouldn’t be far, since the flyer is valid from July 3rd to July 30th. The flyer doesn’t contain any interesting details like pricing or release dates. But it’s leaked information in the right direction.

Don’t you just love leaked documents? Anyway, for all you T-Mobile users out there, here’s a little good news; internal training on HTC’s Dash 3G (Snap) and Touch Pro2 is set to kick off June 16th on the east coast. What this means is that you’re very close to seeing the Dash 3G and Touch Pro2 in an official way. Of course there’s a little disappointing aspect to all this as well. The training doesn’t end till July 2nd in Baltimore/DC which means you won’t be seeing the Dash 3G come out July 1st. Of course this also means we could be seeing the Touch Pro2 before the rumored July 22nd release, so not all bad. But this is all for the east coast, which means the rest of the country may still have a shot at seeing one of these two great handsets sometime in June. Breath=baited.

Right after the Sprint-bound HTC Touch Pro2 made an appearance a few days ago, it was only a matter of time before its Verizon-bound cousin would be pictured as well. Thanks to the HoFo forums, we can all get a look at what the Verizon Wireless version looks like. And of course, such spotting only point to one thing; launch day is so near. Also, it seems like three out of the big four of the US cellular industry are getting the Touch Pro2, undisputable proof that America wants this phone!

Looks like AT&T just got spied on; the guys over at Engadget Mobile have just uncovered a slide deck that shows just about every smartphone headed to AT&T this year. Some of the dates mentioned on the slides might seem off balance, but the lineup looks solid. Windows Mobile devices include the HTC Fortress (Touch Pro2), HTC Warhawk (Touch Diamond2) and the HP iPAQ K3, all of which will run Windows Mobile 6.5. As for your helping of BlackBerry, there is the Onyx, the Magnum, the Gemini and the non-flip Pearl 3G. Rumors are also abound that AT&T will get the Palm EOS in 2H this year. Finally for Android, the HTC Lancaster, a QWERTY handset that makes the G1 look like it was made from paper.
