Verizon Brings Global Travel Phone: Samsung Renown
Verizon Wireless has come out with yet again another treat. The carrier just unveiled the latest Samsung Renown.
The Samsung Renown is a fashionable 2 megapixel clamshell cell phone. The 2 megapixel is paired with NightShot, a camcorder, and video, picture, text and mobile IM messaging options. It also supports Verizon Wireless’ VCAST Music with Rhapsody and VCAST Video services in the U.S. VCAST Music with Rhapsody lets users transform their handheld into an MP3 player. Users get access to over 5 million songs and purchase full tracks over the air. Also, with the Renown you can download master copy of the songs to your PC as well as sync favorite tracks, albums and playlists from you PC to your Renown using a USB cable. With V CAST Video, users can stream or download video clips from news, sports and entertainment websites.
The Renown will be up for sale through B2B, Telesales and online from November 19 and onwards. It will be making a debut across retail outlets on December 1. The price tag on the Renown is $179.99 with a $50 mail in rebate and a two year contract.
